LELENFANT ON TOUR 2026
in the Barycz Valley
Four Continents. Eight Cultures. Two Stages. One Weekend.
On 11–12 July 2026, the Barycz Valley will become a meeting place for cultures from around the world. As part of Lelenfant On Tour, young artists from Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America will present their performances in two unique locations – Żmigród and Krośnice.
Lelenfant On Tour is an international showcase of performances created by children and young people from different parts of the world. It brings the cultural programme of the Friendship Art Education Foundation from Wrocław to smaller towns across Lower Silesia. It is a unique opportunity to discover the world not through guidebooks or maps, but through stories told by young people themselves.
These are not performances created by professional actors. Each production was developed in the participants’ home country and is the result of many months of work by local artistic groups. Through theatre, music, dance, circus, and movement arts, the young artists share their cultures, traditions, everyday lives, and dreams.
Lelenfant On Tour is only the beginning of an international journey. On 13 July, in Wrocław, during the opening of the first stage of Lelenfant, audiences will once again have the opportunity to meet these young artists from around the world. From that day, they will begin two weeks of collaborative artistic work with participants from Poland, creating an international community built on art, dialogue, and mutual understanding. The culmination of this collaboration will be the large-scale performance The Nest of Hope, presented on 27 and 28 July at the Capitol Musical Theatre in Wrocław.

Why Should You Join Us?
Because the best way to discover the world is through the people who call it home.
Lelenfant On Tour is an opportunity to meet young artists who share their cultures in their own authentic voices. Over the course of one weekend, audiences will experience theatre, music, dance, and circus performances created by children and young people from eight countries across four continents. They will discover extraordinary performances developed in different parts of the world and witness how art has the power to build bridges beyond language, borders, and cultural differences.
We warmly invite families, the local communities of the Barycz Valley, and everyone who believes that culture is one of the most meaningful ways to explore and understand our world.
