Lelenfant Workshops – A Space for Growth and Creativity

Lelenfant workshops take on various forms*, but they are always rooted in our core idea: “children teach children” – peer-to-peer and intercultural education. We recognize the immense potential in every young person and strive to nurture and strengthen it. Through collaborative creative work, play, and the sharing of skills, passions, and support, we believe we can learn even more and create something truly extraordinary. The workshop process is based on elements of theater pedagogy, circus arts, and dance, incorporating the ideas and talents of the participants.

Key Elements of the Workshops:

  • Communication with children and youth based on empathy and a partnership approach.
  • Incorporating theater and circus pedagogy while utilizing the unique talents, ideas, and skills of the participants.
  • Using the group process as a tool to support teamwork and cooperation.
  • Fostering engagement and a sense of responsibility among workshop participants.
  • Understanding and managing individual roles within the group to enhance collaboration.
  • Facilitating the group process collectively rather than relying on a single dominant leader.

You can learn more about the different formats of our workshops (day camps, summer workshops, international editions, artistic camps, and artistic installations) in the “Activities” section of our website.
