One of the most important ideas of the Lelenfant project are meetings. We base each element of our activities on interaction with different people, believing in how important it is to get to know other people.

The PICNIC we organize is an opportunity for a real experience of meeting the residents of Wrocław with all this year’s participants of the project. It is a space for exchanging opinions, views, emotions, but also an incredible chance to get to know and understand another person by spending time together and taking specific actions.

We also believe that no meeting is as valuable as those spent in the bosom of nature. That is why a picnic under the Wrocław sky fits so strongly into the idea of ​​our project. We experience closeness to nature, the good of which, regardless of the longitude or latitude, is important for each of us.

The event will include artistic shows, animations and a happening organized by the participants of our project. Thanks to this, children and young people have the opportunity to share collectively created shows, but above all a sense of community, pride in belonging to the Lelenfant community. They will also tell us about their culture and identity.

So, will we see each other on the blanket in 2025?

Lelenfant Castle Picnic in the Park in Leśnica

On July 19, the Lelenfant Castle Picnic will become loud, colorful and multicultural. It is here – in the heart of the district – that the Lelenfant Castle Picnic will take place, a family event as part of the international Lelenfant project organized by the Przyjaźń Sztuka Edukacja Foundation together with the Ośrodek Postaw Twórczych.

Young artists from Poland and abroad will perform on stage, who during the first week of the project created a show combining dance, music, singing and circus at joint workshops. The picnic will be the first opportunity to see the effects of their work. This is a preview of the grand finale, which will take place at the end of July at the Capitol Musical Theater.

On-site attractions await both young and old:

Forest adventure
Playing with nature, measuring trees, “shooting” seeds and forest bathing – for younger and older explorers.

Fairy tale therapy with Allia Kubicz
Musical stories that entertain and heal the soul. Every word has power, and every sound tells a story.

Castle Parade with Graża Wielgus
A parade with giant figures from around the world. The colourful, international procession will be led by an actress from the Gracholka theatre – spontaneity and imagination guaranteed!

Secrets of the Castle’s underground
Magical guided tours for children – legends, secrets and… maybe a hidden treasure?

The event is held as part of the project “PROMOTION OF WROCŁAW THROUGH IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LELENFANT PROJECT IN WROCŁAW” in 2024, co-financed by the Municipality of Wrocław, and co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. It is implemented by the Przyjaźń Sztuka Edukacja Foundation. The event is co-organized by the Ośrodek Postaw Twórczych.
