At Lelenfant, we invite young artists to unique Lelenfant workshops, reaching out to new artistic and cultural forms that we have not yet explored in the Brave Kids project. In cooperation with the Friendship Art Education Foundation, a team of architects from ProtoLab – design&build, a group of students from the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology, and a team of Lelenfant instructors experienced in the fields of choreography and psychology.
To build something together, you need time, space, shared ideas and understanding, preferably peaceful. Piece by piece, we will explore what it means to build your own safe space. Figuratively and literally. Using artistic theatrical and architectural tools. The first step will be workshops during which young participants will explore and experiment with the theme of ‘personal space’ through movement, games and play in time and space. All this is to develop a common ‘peaceful’ idea for the creation of an architectural installation together with artists and architects, which will culminate in a grand Lelenfant picnic.
What will be created?
As always in our Foundation’s activities, we give space to children and young artists. Will it be a pavilion, a modular installation, or perhaps a giant elephant? Let’s wait and see.
In 2023, the Mythical Dragon was created as part of ProtoLab.
In 2022, the Lelenfant Pavilion was created as part of the collaboration.
We believe that by working together, piece by piece, we can build our shared PEACE.
