The international edition of the Lelenfant 2026 project encompasses a series of artistic, social, and educational events taking place in Wrocław and the Barycz Valley. Children and youth from Poland, Palestine, Romania, Ethiopia, Brazil, Iran, Bulgaria, Greece, Germany, and Morocco will participate. The project combines artistic presentations, participatory activities, and intercultural exchange, creating a space for encounter through art, movement, and collaborative creative endeavors.

On the Trails of Nature – Children’s and Youth Art Review
An outdoor event launching Lelenfant’s activities in the Barycz Valley. The historic park and natural spaces of Żmigród will become a meeting place for residents, children and young people from various countries, and artists participating in the project. The program will include performances, short artistic forms, animations, and meetings integrating the local community with participants of the international project. Co-financed by the  Artistic Events program of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage

Lelenfant on Tour and Lelenfant Picnic 

A presentation of performances by youth artistic groups, with groups from Romania, Palestine, Morocco, Iran, Ethiopia, Greece, and Brazil planned. These performances create a kaleidoscope of diverse forms, from movement and dance theatre, through visual arts, to performance art rooted in the traditions of individual cultures. Each performance is an authentic presentation of their heritage, worldview, and emotional communication, prepared by the young artists.

A show of etudes by Lelenfant creative groups from Poland, Brazil, Iran, Bulgaria and Greece

A presentation of artistic groups operating in the Złotniki location. The audience will be able to see short theatrical, choreographic, and musical performances prepared during intercultural workshops.

A showcase of short films by the Lelenfant creative groups from Poland, Germany, and Morocco. This artistic event is part of the Polish-German youth cooperation and the intercultural activities of the Lelenfant project. The program will include circus, dance, and movement presentations prepared jointly by young people from various countries.

July 19, 2026 (Sunday) | Staromiejski Park, Wrocław “Everyone Follow Me!” – International Lelenfant Parade.
A colorful street parade with the participation of children and young people from various countries, instructors, and Wrocław residents. The event will celebrate cultural diversity, community spirit, and the presence of young people in the city.

“Circus Connect” – a work-in-progress showcase of the Polish-German youth exchange.
An open meeting showcasing the creative process of the Polish-German youth exchange. The audience will see excerpts from circus, performance, and movement projects jointly developed by young people from Poland and Germany.

Lelenfant DANCE STUDIES Księże Małe and Złotniki.
A presentation of choreography fragments, performances, and etudes created in the two project locations. The event will allow the audience to learn about the diverse creative processes developed during the first stage of Lelenfant 2026.

“Hulanki,” an intercultural showcase of children’s and youth’s creative work, is the culmination of the first phase of activities at Księże Mały.
This is the culmination of activities carried out at the Dialogue Theatre in Księże Mały. The showcase will be the result of collaborative work by young people from Poland and abroad, combining theatre, music, movement, and performance.

“Hulanki,” an intercultural showcase of children’s and youth’s creative work, culminates the first phase of activities at Złotniki.
A presentation of the results of workshops and creative activities carried out at Złotniki. The event will summarize the first phase of work by international and local project participants.

“Circus Connect” – the finale of the Polish-German youth exchange and semi-final presentations of the three project locations.
This event summarized the activities carried out as part of the Polish-German exchange and showcased the work of young people from different parts of Wrocław participating in the Lelenfant project.

Lelenfant’s final performance – “THE NEST OF HOPE”

An international artistic spectacle featuring children and young people from Poland and abroad, the culmination of a multi-week creative process. The performance will combine theatre, music, dance, circus, and performance into a story about community, diversity, and building hope through art.
